Brendan Carr’s FCC is more worried about who The View interviews than foreign governments owning Paramount
The FCC has waived its 25% foreign equity ownership limit for Paramount-Warner Bros., allowing Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth funds to own 49.5% of the company. This decision came after the FCC threatened ABC, specifically The View, over an interview.
