GEFS on OpenBSD: A Early Preview

The OpenBSD project is working on a feature called GEFS, an experimental file system that aims to provide a secure and efficient file system for storing and managing large amounts of data. The project is still in its early stages, with the first commit being made in 2022 and only a few commits made since then. GEFS is designed to be a more secure alternative to other file systems, with features such as data integrity checking and secure deletion of files. The project is currently being developed by Theo de Raadt, the leader of the OpenBSD project, and a few other contributors. The GEFS code is available on the OpenBSD Git repository.
