Volkswagen’s slippery new EV breaks a bunch of efficiency records

Volkswagen's Mission Efficiency electric vehicle has broken several efficiency records, achieving 5.8 miles/kWh in real-world driving and a 0-60mph time of 3.85 seconds. The vehicle is built on VW's MEB+ platform and features front-wheel drive components from the ID. Polo and ID. Cross models. It has a 2+2 seating configuration and is a near-production prototype.
