StarCraft returns in 2030 as an open-world shooter

Blizzard is reviving the StarCraft series as an open-world shooter, titled simply 'StarCraft', set to release in 2030. The project was previously attempted in 2002 as StarCraft: Ghost, but was canceled in 2014. The new game will be developed with a new team and will feature a new take on the StarCraft universe.
