Meta bans ads for Virginia Woolf play in Spain

The play, 'A Room of One's Own', was scheduled to premiere at the Teatre Raval in Barcelona. However, Meta took down the ad because it included a quote from Woolf's famous essay of the same name that contained the phrase 'don't be a bloody idiot', which Meta deemed to be too profane. The company's policies prohibit ads containing explicit language or content that could be considered 'harmful, sensitive, or shocking'. The play's director, Miquel Martí, expressed disappointment at the decision, stating that the quote was used in a literary context and was not intended to be explicit. The premiere of the play is still scheduled to go ahead, but the ad will not be reinstated.
