Meet the Academics Trying to Stop You From Having Sex in Robotaxis
Researchers at the University of Texas at Austin are developing a system to prevent passengers from engaging in sexual activity in self-driving taxis. The system, called 'SafeRide,' uses computer vision and machine learning algorithms to detect and respond to potential sex acts. The system can identify 18 different types of sex acts and alert the driver or authorities if necessary. The researchers hope to implement the system in future autonomous vehicles.
